Firefighters are in desperate need of scrapped vehicles for training exercises.
Watch Commander Les Maddams, from Crawley fire station, said supplies were running low and appealed to anyone wishing to get rid of their vehicle to donate it the the fire service.
He said: “We will come and collect it and do all the necessary paperwork. We are willing to go anywhere in the county.
“We probably use one car a week. Our equipment needs to be checked and tested and the only way to do that is to try it out on something.”
If you would like to donate a car to the fire service, call 07860 667785.
