A man had his tooth knocked out after being punched in the face during a fight.
The 25-year-old, from Chichester, was one of three victims to be treated by paramedics following the scrap in New Park Road.
A 23-year-old man from Chidham, near Chichester, and a 27-year-old man from Chichester were also treated after receiving slight facial injuries.
Detective Constable Jason Vickers said: "It would appear the fight occurred after two groups of men became embroiled in an argument.
“Police were quick to respond and following a search of the area two suspects were arrested. I am appealing for witnesses, particularly a female who was believed to been with one of the groups."
Two men from Chichester, aged 20 and 21, have been arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm and released on police bail until June 8.
The fight broke out at 2.20am on Sunday, April 30.
