Five people – including a 13-year-old boy – were arrested following an incident at a home in the early hours of today.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Police were called to the address at 3.50am after reports of a disturbance and found five people fighting in the back garden.

“Officers also searched the garage adjacent to the house and found a cannabis cultivation site there.

“One of the men, a 36-year-old, was treated at Conquest Hospital for head injuries but was subsequently discharged and arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis.

“Two men aged 30, and 35, and a boy aged 13, all of whom are from London, were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.

“The fifth man, 33 years old and local, was also arrested on suspicion of cannabis cultivation, as was a 34-year old local woman."

All six are currently in custody for interview and further enquiries.

The incident took place in Combermere Road, St Leonards.
