An elderly woman was given emergency medical treatment following a blaze at her home.
The fire started in the kitchen of her home in Stonehurst Court, Down Terrace, East Brighton.
She suffered from smoke inhalation and was administered oxygen at the scene of the blaze at 5.50pm on Sunday, a firefighter from Roedean station in Brighton said.
