Firefighters spent a night chasing around Eastbourne.
A power cut caused fire alarms to go off all over the Old Town overnight from Monday to Tuesday.
An Eastbourne firefighter said: “It was all false alarms so we spent the night chasing all over the Old Town.”
Firefighters rescued two women who had become locked outside at 4am in Eton Street, Hove. A Hove firefighter said: “They had been out, forgotten their keys and were on the second floor.”
