A gallery is featuring the work of an artist who marries his talent for painting with a passion for ‘pin-up’ art.
Until June 19, Impure Art will showcase the work of Brighton artist Jerry Rulf.
His work is inspired by 1950s glamour artists, but he decided to paint modern Brighton women in his vintage style.
He said: “I kept seeing women around the city who looked like they had stepped straight out of the 1950s. So about two years ago I approached one in The Lanes and asked if she would model for me.”
From there the idea grew to the collection on show at the gallery in Ship Street Gardens.
