A 20-year-old man who was spotted driving his car dangerously by police was arrested after he crashed into a Mini Cooper.

The man was travelling along Hastings Road, Bexhill, towards Sidley, at about 11pm yesterday when the red Ford Mondeo he was driving collided with a black Mini Cooper at the junction of Penland Road.

A 17-year-old man, who was a passenger in the Mondeo and a 29-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the Mini Cooper, were both taken to the Conquest Hospital suffering from whiplash injuries. The driver of the Mondeo was not taken to hospital.
