For those who like community events, Woodingdean is the place to be this Saturday (the 21st of May).
The annual Deans Festival is being held in the grounds of the Woodingdean Primary School in Warren Rd and, just across the road, the Church of the Holy Cross is holding its annual Spring Fair. The Festival, which is organised by local schools and is part of the Brighton Fringe, promises something for all the family, including go-karts, penalty shoot-out, climbing wall, face painting, along with a Fair Trade café and a Beer Tent. It will start at 11am and go on to 4pm.
The Spring Fair will have a range of stalls offering lots of bargains, raffle, refreshments and other things. It will start a 10am and go on until 1pm.
Bus services 2, 2a and 22 go to Warren Rd and there is parking for cars in the car park adjacent to the school.
