An electrical fault sparked a fire in a family home.
Firefighters from Hove and Preston Circus stations were called to a fourth-floor flat in Furze Croft residential block in Furze Hill, Hove at around 11.15pm last night.
Two firefighters using breathing apparatus managed to contain the fire and the family living in the property were able to evacuate the building before fire crews arrived.
