I THINK it would be a nice idea if the residents on the borders of the Old Shoreham Road going through Portslade planted cherry trees along its length.
This would provide spectacular blossom and leaf colour and would lift the atmosphere of the road to a better level.
My councillor, Vanessa Brown, is looking into it.
