A motorcyclist suffered a serious head injury after his bike collided with a parked car.
The 38-year-old man from Eastbourne was taken to Eastbourne District General Hospital following the accident at just after 11pm on Thursday in King’s Drive, Eastbourne.
Police reports indicate that a silver Yamaha 1300cc motorcycle being ridden by the man was travelling northbound on King's Drive before crossing over the central white lines.
The motorcycle then struck a parked and unattended silver Vauxhall Corsa on the southbound carriageway before colliding with a tree on the pavement.
Sussex Police are investigating the collision and are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 0845 60 70 999 quoting Operation Hallam.
