I AM, along with other members of the family, trying to trace my second cousin, Betty Freeman.
She used to live in Flat 1 at 52 Rutland Gardens, Hove BN3 5PB.
I lost contact with her about ten years ago. We were tracing our Nicholl family history when communications from Betty suddenly stopped.
Betty was born Betty Lilian Freeman on November 23, 1930.
She would be 80 years old this year.
I have tried to contact Betty, but I have had letters returned unopened and telephone calls are not being responded to.
It appears her home has been sold.
I have tried various sources to try to make contact with her, all to no avail.
I do know that Betty was on the Electoral Register for 2009, but not for 2010.
In light of this, I contacted the Brighton and Hove registry office, who tell me they do not have a death registration for Betty in 2010 or 2011.
