A six-year-old girl was seriously injured after being hit by a car.
The child was struck by a car on Sackville Gardens in East Grinstead at about 5pm today.
Sussex Road Policing Unit is investigating how the crash happened.
The girl was rushed to East Surrey Hospital in Redhill with what is believed to be a serious leg injury.
