A herd of cows had to be rescued after becoming stranded in Sussex countryside.
Fire crews were called to Church Street, Fletching, near Uckfield, about 11.30pm last night to assist the six animals.
Rescue teams spent more than three hours using heavy lifting machinery to move each one to safety.
