And the Acorn Antiques actress Tania Newton deserves a macaroon or two after mastering the kit ahead of a show later this month.
Acorn Antiques The Musical is being staged at The Barn theatre in Southwick Street, Southwick, from Wednesday, July 27, to Saturday, July 30.
Miss Newton and co-star Brian Capron, the former Coronation Street serial killer, got some practice using a stairlift at a home in Amelia Close, Southwick, this week.
The Friday night show is being held to support The Martlets Hospice. Tickets range between £12 and £21.
