A 66-year-old woman suffered minor injuries following a car crash.
She was driving her Nissan Almera on the A283 between Steyning and Washington when she collided with a Peugeot 306 on a bend at The Pike at about 11.20am today.
A 73-year-old woman, from Gomeldon, Salisbury, who was driving the Peugeot and her 71-year-old passenger were uninjured.
A 60-year-old woman travelling in the Nissan was also uninjured. The 66-year-old woman, who was driving the car, was taken to Worthing Hospital.
Sussex Police thanked people for their understanding while the A283 was temporarily closed westbound. The road was reopened at about 12.50pm.
