Hundreds of people will take part in a city's own Tour de France on a park's cycle track.
Cyclists aim to cover the distance of 1,500 miles by together pedalling a total of 3,500 laps of the Preston Park cycle track in Brighton.
Pedal in Preston Park was created by Alistair Milne to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, after his wife Rachel Evans-Milne died from the disease.
The event, which taked place between 1pm and 5pm on Saturday, is supported by Preston Park Cycle Club and VC Jubilee.
This year Pedal in Preston Park is partnering with Rockinghorse children's charity and cyclists will be able to raise funds for either or both charities.
More cyclists are needed to make the final mileage happen and families and individual cyclists can register in advance by going to www.pedalinprestonpark.co.uk.
