Two teenagers were stabbed in Lewes
The incident took place following the Nevill bonfire celebrations in Prince Edwards Road, Lewes, at 10.50pm on Saturday.
An 18-year-old Eastbourne man and a 17-year-old Lindfield boy each received a slight leg stab wound.
The 18-year-old was treated at the scene and the 17-year-old was treated at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton but discharged on the same evening.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "This incident appears to have arisen between some bystanders, and has nothing to with the bonfire event itself or anyone directly connected with it.”
Anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact Sussex Police on 0845 60 60 999.
Two boys, aged 15 and 17, from Lewes, a 17-year-old girl also from Lewes and a 19-year-old Lewes man, were arrested on suspicion of assault and have been released on police bail until December 1 until further inquiries are carried out.
