I enjoy fireworks and like watching the pyrotechnics around bonfire night.
However, during the night of Saturday, October 15, fireworks were being set off on Brighton beach until 4am.
My wife and I work in the NHS, and she is a healthcare assistant who works shifts.
On both Saturday and Sunday she worked twelve hours.
This meant she had to get up at 6am.
Because of these fireworks she had a very disturbed night.
As I have stated, I have nothing against fireworks, but some consideration is in order – surely 11pm is late enough.
