The Brighton Wheel has certainly given hundreds of people an illuminating experience.
Scores of visitors and locals flocked to ride on the £6 million attraction which has been operational for more than a week.
Construction of the wheel began in Dalton’s Bastion in Madeira Drive, Brighton, in late September.
It opened in time for the autumn half-term break and developers Paramount Entertainments said it had passed every condition Brighton and Hove City Council required.
The wheel has a five-year deal with the local authority to stay on the seafront and 30 full and part-time jobs have been created.
It has 36 enclosed glass gondolas including one VIP gondola.
