A man threatened to jump from a 200ft crane.
Emergency services were called to a building site next to the Aquarena swimming pool in Brighton Road, Worthing, at about 7.55am today.
He had climbed to the top of the crane and told police he was going to jump.
Police coaxed him down and he was arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass.
