A stolen car crashed after a burglary.
The smash took place at the corner of Mayo Road and Prince’s Road, Brighton, at about 3.45am on Thursday.
The Audi was stolen in a burglary at a home in Coleman Avenue, Hove, at about 3am.
Police then saw it speeding in Trafalgar Street, Brighton, at 3.45am before it crashed.
A second Audi stolen from the same street was later found in Wish Road, Hove.
Alex Evans, 19, of Ashmore Close, Peacehaven, was charged with burglary, theft, aggravated vehicle taking and causing damaging to a vehicle.
He was due to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court.
