A motorcyclist has died after a road crash in Hove this morning.
A car and a motorcycle collided in Davigdor Road at 6.30am. The road was closed between 6.30am and 10.30am.
A Sussex Police statement said: "Police were called to a fatal collision between a motorcyclist and a car in Davigdor Road, Hove, today at 6.25am.
"The motorcyclist, a 34-year-old Polish national living in Brighton, sadly died at the scene after his Kawasaki motorbike was in collision with a Nissan Serena car at the junction of Lyon Close.
"The road was closed for four hours but re-opened at 10.30am. Police are appealing for witnesses especially those who may have seen the motorcyclist just prior to the collision. Anyone with information should call Sussex Police on 101 quoting Operation Button."
