Firefighters have spent the night tackling a major blaze at a scrapyard.
Crews were called to Light Brothers in Greystone Quarry, Lewes, just after 10.30pm last night following reports a building was on fire.
The blaze had also spread to a nearby scrapheap and it is believed an extensive amount of machinery has also been badly damaged.
Firefighters from Lewes, Preston Circus, Hove and Uckfield were among those attending the blaze, which was brought under control shortly before 2am.
Crews stayed at the scene until around 4.30am to make sure the area was safe.
An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.
