Brighton Digital Festival 2012 opened with a computerised bang this week with a digital fireworks display.
The month-long festival launched on Sunday with a PixelPyro digital fireworks display in Jubilee Square , Brighton.
The fireworks were created by artist Seb Lee-Delisle and allowed the audience to trigger a digital firework display projected onto Jubilee Library.
The festival is running until September 30 with more than 100 events taking place based around digital culture.
More than 40,000 visitors are expected at the festival and a number of well-established conferences and workshops have already sold out.
