Police found the pictures on an iPod in a haul of stolen goods they believe came from West Sussex.

Officers are trying to reunite the device with its owners after mounting an operation to solve dozens of burglaries.

They are also searching for the rightful owners of Nikon and Inpro binoculars and Canon and Lumix cameras, as well as three bicycles – a Specialized Stumpjumper, a Carrera Banshee and a Specialized Hardrock.

The stolen goods were seized in police raids in Bognor.

Officers are investigating a series of 60 burglaries carried out since last October, mainly in the Arun and Chichester areas but stretching as far as Broadbridge Heath, near Horsham.

Two Eastern European men have been arrested over the crimes and are currently on bail while the West Sussex Priority Crime Team investigates.

Anyone who recognises the people in the pictures or the other goods is asked to call Sussex Police on 101, quoting Operation Etna.
