MORE than 200 people have this afternoon been protesting at Tory plans to close two care homes.
Both Firwood House and Milton Grange face closure under plans by East Sussex County Council to save millions.
But more than 9,500 have now signed a petition against the plan, and today Stephen Lloyd, the LibDem MP for Eastbourne, has led the protest.
He told the protestors: “Eastbourne will now allow these two homes to close, end of.
“We all know how good these homes are."
