A man will appear in court this morning charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding another with intent to do him grievous bodily harm.
Jerome Brown, from Charles Street in Brighton, is due before at Brighton Magistrates’ Court at 10am today.
The 33-year-old was arrested following an incident in Charles Street, Brighton, at 7.30am on Sunday in which 22-year-old boxer Josh Douglas suffered multiple stab wounds.
Mr Douglas is being treated at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for injuries which police have described as not life-threatening but possibly life-changing.
