THIS is the moment a man leaned over across the counter of a betting shop and stole hundreds of pounds from the till.
Now police are appealing for witnesses to the burglary at the Ladbrokes shop in St George's Road, Brighton.
It happened at about 6.30pm on Thursday, November 27, but police only released the information today.
The man was described as white, skinny, 6ft 1in, with a shaved head and stubble.
He was believed to be between 27 and 30, and was wearing a navy waterproof jacket.
PC Joe Salter said: “No-one was hurt and he made no threats to anyone but it was a very brazen theft of money from the till.
“We are keen to trace anyone who was in the St George's Road area around 6.30pm.”
Anyone with information or who saw anyone acting suspiciously should email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 1278 of 27/11.
