A POLICE officer has been injured after being knocked over by a car in a car park.
Sussex Police said the plain-clothed, on-duty officer approached the car to talk to the driver but it drove away and he was knocked to the ground.
He was taken to hospital after the incident at about 12.15pm today (Saturday March 21) in the Swan Walk multi-storey car park in Albion Way, Horsham.
The 59-year-old's injuries are not thought to be serious but he remains at the East Surrey Hospital in Redhill for assessment, police said.
