An image of a man believed to be responsible for the thefts of iPods from two students' rooms at the University of Sussex has been released.

During the afternoon of Sunday 22 March, the study/bedrooms in Lancaster block at the University of Sussex's Falmer campus was entered and the iPods were taken from each one.

A CCTV image of a man seen nearby that afternoon, and who they suspect of being responsible has today been released. He is described as being of Asian appearance.

Detective Constable Scott Moore of the Brighton Priority Crime Team said; "We are reminding students to make sure their rooms are secured at all times, and to use the Immobilise.com free website where you can register the details of all your property including all electrical items."
