A man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving in connection with a double fatal collision in Handcross last December.
Kyle Witney, 20, of Finches Lane, Lindfield has been charged with two counts of driving dangerously causing the deaths of Marc Martin and Matthew Preece and being unfit through taking drugs.
The two passengers sadly died when the car they were travelling in left the road and hit a tree at Handcross on December 17 last year.
Matthew Preece, 21, from Lindfield, and Marc Martin, 22, from Haywards Heath both died in hospital from their injuries.
They had been sitting in the back of the BMW when it struck the tree and flipped on its roof on High Beeches Lane just after 10pm.
Witney will appear at Crawley Magistrates court on July 22.
