Boots in London Road, Brighton
A PROLIFIC thief has been jailed for eight weeks after stealing clothes, houseware and cosmetic items.
Christopher Tyler, 33, of no fixed address, stole £244 worth of cosmetic items from Boots in London Road, Brighton, on May 22.
He stole clothing worth £164 from Peacocks in London Road the day before and mattress toppers worth £49.98 from Poundstretcher in London Road on May 22.
He pleaded guilty at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on May 24, where he was also ordered to pay an £80 victim surcharge.
Magistrates said his sentence was due to repeat offending
