A pedestrian was injured by a car last week.
A man in his 60s was struck by the car, suffering a twisted knee, in Chitcombe Road, Broad Oak, Brede, on Thursday July 7.
He was on foot delivering parish newsletters in the village with his wife when the incident, described by police as an assault, took place between 10.15am and 10.45am.
The driver of the car, a white man, around 60 years old and around 6ft tall of medium build with short grey hair and grey/brown facial stubble, then drove off.
The car was silver and believed to be a Vauxhall, possibly an estate.
