POLICE seized more than £30,000 in cash at a flat.
Officers found £30,675 in Adriatik Dema's pockets and in the 43-year-old's home in Donald Hall Road on Friday afternoon.
Sussex Police has now been given permission by a court to keep the money for three months - believing that it was obtained criminally or intended for an unlawful use.
Brighton Magistrates' Court yesterday granted the police's application to keep the money for three months under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.
