SPONSORED BY HAYS EDUCATION Winner: James Fox SINCE joining in 2013 James Fox has had an outstanding impact on Portslade Aldridge Community Academy (PACA).

Named in the top 10 improved schools in the country due to a 21% rise in GCSE results with 60% students gaining 5 A*to C grades in 2013 up from 39% in 2012, PACA has been significantly turned around from a school that was close to special measures.

James said: “It’s absolutely fantastic and I feel really honoured.”

With the improvements at PACA continuing to grow, Mr Fox insists he is only just getting started in Portslade.

He added: “I’m never satisfied until absolutely everyone has done their best.

“Onwards and upwards for the future.”
