School children have presented giant cheques to their nominated charities at a special end-of-term assembly.
Students from Lewes Old Grammar School held their end-of-term charity assembly at St Michael’s Church in the High Street, Lewes.
The youngsters raised much needed funds for the good causes by holding a whole-school sponsored walk to Stanmer Park and back.
In total they collected more than £7,000 which was divided between the six organisations based locally and abroad - but all with a special connection to the independent school.
