DOWNLANDS Community School’s Year 7 footballers completed their 100% winning season by beating King’s School in the league final.
The squad went into the game having won every one of their Brighton League fixtures.
They pulled off an impressive 3-1 victory in the Brighton League Play-off Final last Tuesday at Hove Park School thanks to goals from Adam Lindo, Shay Leahy and Ed Turns.
The boys have a chance of doing the double as they are due to meet Hove Park in the final of the Brighton Cup on May 12 at Whitehawk FC’s Enclosed Ground.
The Downlands Year 7 Football Team squad: Matt Holmes, Alfie Baldock, Angus Hill, Josh Hickingbotham, Sam Wright, Ed Turns, Shay Leahy, Ollie Munt, Adam Lindo, Charlie Jones, Dexter Webb and Cameron Webb.
