A TEAM of occupational therapists is getting out and about this week to raise the profile of the profession.

Therapists from Sussex Partnership NHS Trust support people to live life their way despite any health or care needs they may be experiencing.

The event is part of an annual national awareness campaign organised by the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).

This year’s theme is “I am an occupational therapist”.

This builds on the RCOT’s call for its members to be loud and proud of the value they add to the lives of hundreds of thousands of people every week.

The team is holding events at Meadowfield Hospital in Worthing and Langley Green Hospital in Crawley to share what they do in the trust to support patients and answer questions about their work.
