AN 18-year-old woman has been to taken to hospital with head injuries after falling out of a moving van.
Police were called shortly after 12.30pm this afternoon after reports of the incident on the A259 in Peacehaven, near the junction with Seaview Road.
The teenager sustained an injury to her head after falling from a van that was travelling eastbound along South Coast Road.
The woman was checked over by paramedics and she was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital. Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Sussex Police said the circumstances surrounding the incident are not thought to be suspicious and no one else is being sought in relation.
