FIREFIGHTERS have spent the night at the scene of a barn fire.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to St George's Park farm, in Ditchling Road, near Burgess Hill at around 7pm on Wednesday.
Around 1,000 bales of hay were on fire.
Six fire engines - two from Haywards Heath and one each from Barcombe, Lewes, Uckfield and Burgess Hill - were sent to the scene.
A control unit from Lewes and the water carrier from Uckfield were also in attendance.
There were no reports of any injuries.
