For many years now, Pier-to-Pier races/runs/swims have been a feature of Brighton life.
So now the ground-breaking ceremony has taken place for the i360, and, meanwhile, the foundations are being laid for the Roaring Forties forty-storey block of flats at the Marina. I wonder whether there will be Tower-to-Tower races in the future?
Perhaps some local entrepreneur will run a cable car between the two tops. Indeed, perhaps the i360 could have been placed on top of the Roaring Forties, and then Brighton might be home to the tallest building in the Western world.
