Today is the big decision day over the bin strikes.
For almost a month everyone living in Brighton has been living infrequent and sometimes nonexistent bin collections.
As union bosses put council proposals to vote to see whether tomorrow’s strikes go ahead, surely enough is enough.
While you should always have the right to take industrial action, the effect these strikes have had on residents is now getting too much to bear.
With people having to take matters into their own hands just to make sure their streets are safe for their children, now is the time to end it.
We all await the decision anxiously to see whether or not we can wake up from the nightmare of bins going uncollected and rubbish piling up.
