I thought it would be an idea to take my two girls down to Stanmer Park in Brighton for a runaround as I was feeling rough and I could watch them from my car.
We parked up on the right as you go into one of those concrete bays. A couple of traveller vans were parked up from us, all curtains drawn and no sign of life.
After 15 minutes, I noticed my girls had stopped in their tracks. The doors of one van were flung open and someone stood in the van urinating out on to the grass. They finished and the doors slammed shut.
It’s not what you expect to see at three in the afternoon – god knows what happens after dark. It’s a shame.
I’m boring myself writing about it as this is all we hear about and nothing is ever done.
The main thing is my girls are fine. We will just have to be careful not to invade someone else’s privacy next time.
