On Sunday, April 13, a bright sunny morning, I was walking along the seafront of Brighton and Hove, near the Peace Statue, and needed the loo.
I went to the Portakabin toilets nearby only to find them locked with a notice saying they were closed for the winter.
So our council still thinks it’s winter. Ha ha!
On the lower promenade all the drains were blocked with pebbles from the recent storms – the council has had plenty of time to clean them out. And thousands of pounds has been spent on cycle lanes.
Many people use the seafront for its cafes and yet in this busy area there are no loos. It’s a disgrace.
