Apart from the shambles on the pitch on Saturday against Sheff Wednesday, with players playing out of position, and players who should have been selected not being selected, which hopefully can be sorted out by the management, can someone at the Amex please explain in simple terms, why a pint of Harveys bitter - which you can buy in any pub in Sussex or Kent for £3.60 - has been increased from last year’s already expensive price of £3.90, to an amazing £4.20.

Bearing in mind it only has to travel three miles down the road from Lewes, why is it so expensive?

Also, why is a standard pie, which probably costs about a £1 to produce, now selling at £4.60 ?

If the club are not careful, more and more people like me will now decide to have a beer in Brighton before travelling to the ground, and will arrive later at the ground, which I thought was what the club did not want.

It would not be so bad if the fans could see some investment on the pitch, but all we hear is about the hard work going on behind the scenes, while other clubs seem to be able to buy the players that we were supposedly interested in, and seem to be able to pay the wages we will not pay.

Please do not let the club bang on about parachute payments, as a lot of the clubs buying are not in receipt of parachute payments.

It seems to me that in the long run this will rebound on the club, as the fans will only take so much.
