As I said in an earlier comment to a previous article, I am a Conservative voter, however I will be voting Labour tactically in the next local elections purely for the sake of getting rid of the Greens. As much as I hate Labour and everything they stand for, I would much rather live under a Labour majority council than a Green council. It is certainly the lesser of two evils.

Yes, that's right - we have a 'first past the post' system, so the person with the most votes wins the job. On voting day, put a cross by the name of the candidate you like the most and Bob's your Uncle. I shall be voting Green.

The most important thing is to use your vote, if you don't then you cant complain. I am not a fan of tactical voting....far better to vote for who you think will be the best for Brighton

Why bother voting labour when most of the ills, lack of standards and further left wing policies have bought this town to its knees.

I'm not interested what is best for Brighton as I don't live there. I am more concerned with what is best for Hove. I couldn't care less about Brighton, however because we (Hove) were forced into an administrative union with Brighton we have to endure the loony lefty greeny governance over here in Hove as a result. Best thing all round is for Hove to go back to being administratively separate from Brighton so we can elect OUR own council for OUR town.

why have the greens acted with such arrogance, treating our town as if it were their personal fiefdom. surely the job of the council is to facilitate the smooth running of the town for the greater good of it's people. you really are a hateful bunch

I seem to recall both tory and labor having a go but seemed to have miss these paragons of civic responsability?
