They are hopeless
With the mess her party has made of running the city it makes it understandable that Caroline Lucas wants to try to distance herself from it and from the council (Argus, February 28).
But her desperate plea emphasises once again how hopelessly split the Greens are. And it shows just how little influence she has, even in her own party, let alone in parliament.
