My wife and I, Christine Foster (nee Holden), who has lived in the Brighton area all her life, would like to add our support to David Rowland whose letter in The Argus requests that Henry Holden’s name be put on the front of one of our buses.

Her brother researched Henry and discovered that he was a relation of her grandfather.

For a foreigner to be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honour (the equivalent of our VC), the highest honour in the US, is exceptional.

We should be proud of an old Brightonian resident who has shown such bravery and advertise it on the side of one of our buses.
