They lack respect
I had the honour to attend the VE Day commemoration service at Brighton war memorial on Sunday, May 10, but was disappointed at the non-attendance of the Brighton & Hove councillors.
At the very least the leader of each party could have attended. I felt this was very disrespectful to the fallen.
Full marks to Simon Kirby MP, Mary Mears, councillor and ex councillor Bill Randall who did attend.
